Yet another petrol price...

Yet another petrol price rise is on the cards – but here’s a small piece of plastic which could help save you money at the pumps!

Shell’s new MasterCard earns you cash every time you fill up, by giving a discount redeemable against future fuel purchases. It lets you accumulate a rebate of three per cent on Shell transactions, and based on five refills of 30 litres a month you could earn ÷£52.54 in a year. That’s enough for a free fill-up. Other benefits include insurance and RAC membership discounts, plus free fraud protection.

What’s more, customers who join the scheme before 13 November can double up, with a six per cent fuel rebate on Shell purchases. To apply, phone 0870 010 7301, visit www.shell.co.uk/smc or pick up an application from any Shell service station.
