This is the QQ6, the latest supermini from Chinese manufacturer Chery Auto, and it"s due to arrive in showrooms in August. Developed under the codename S21, the little runaround will initially only be sold in China for 42,500 Yuan - the equivalent of ÷£2,900!
Two versions will be available from launch - the QQ611, powered by a 1.1-litre petrol engine and the QQ613, which features a 1.3-litre petrol unit. Its predecessor, a hatchback known as the QQ, has been renamed the QQ3. It"s small, economical and quick, but it"s unlikely to appear on British or US roads in the near future - it doesn"t meet either nations" emissions or safety standards.
