Hi-tech lightweight plastic bodywork and an aluminium spaceframe chassis mean the roadster tips the scales at 750kg. Power comes from a bioethanol-fuelled 750cc four-cylinder motor, which is supercharged to deliver 148bhp. Rinspeed claims the 0-60mph sprint should take 4.8 seconds, with a top speed of 130mph. "It symbolises the development process of a vehicle, where vision is turned into a solid object," explained firm founder Franck Rinderknecht.
