The plan, coming on...

The plan, coming on the back of a record sales year in 2006, should guarantee more new models from the Italian marque and continue its revitalisation under Audi.

At the Geneva unveiling of the lightweight Gallardo Superleggera, the brand confirmed it has a "formally stated commitment to show new products and developments".

The plan has already borne fruit: the Murciélago LP640 was revealed at Geneva last year, and the Miura Concept debuted at Detroit in 2006. It also covers special editions, such as the recently announced Gallardo Nera. A Gallardo Superleggera Spyder is thought to be in the pipeline.
