The shots reveal how the German manufacturer has taken the roadster"s racy lines and made them even more dramatic. The biggest change sees the "fried egg" headlamps ditched.
The newcomer is expected...
The newcomer is expected to be capable off-road - thanks to low-range gears and a selectable four-wheel-drive system - as well as refined on it. It will have seven seats and feature a Range Rover-style split-opening tailgate.
The mid-sized 4x4 will be available with a choice of engines, including the Volkswagen-derived 2.0-litre diesel used in the firm"s Grandis people carrier. A pair of four-cylinder petrol powerplants of 2.0 and 2.4 litres respectively will feature, too. Prices are expected to start at around í‚á£16,500.
Also on the stand will be the D5 - a boxy, jacked-up MPV featuring sliding rear doors and glass roof panels. It points the way to a replacement for the maker"s Delica, which has found its way to the UK in limited numbers as a grey import.
