The membership option for this summer is called Option 66, and provides AA European Breakdown Cover, a road atlas of Europe, and a sun visor sticker with advice on motoring in Germany, to help avoid picking up driving penalties.
More importantly, Option 66 members will be able to call a fluent English-speaking euro call centre in Lyon 24 hours a day, and in the event of non-repairable problems, have the option of vehicle recovery back to the UK, along with a replacement car and accommodation if needed.
