Spyker is one of the world’s oldest car companies. Born in Amsterdam in 1898, by 1907 one of its motors had come second in the Peking-Paris Rally, but the firm went bust in 1925.
It was relaunched in 2000, making supercars which also race at Le Mans. In 2005, Spyker went on the Amsterdam stock exchange, and last summer it acquired the MF1 grand prix team from its Russian owner.
