Peter Stevens is the man who pens all new MG Rovers, but he"s also visiting professor of automotive design at London"s prestigious Royal College of Art. He said: "I expect to see a major change in Porsche styling under the new boss. When a new man comes in, he wants to make it apparent where the old design work stopped and his started."
Porsche"s outgoing styling guru, Harm Lagaay, first worked for the firm during the Seventies. He spent the Eighties at Ford and BMW, but returned to Porsche in 1991 and created the Boxster. The 911 unveiled in last week"s issue will be his swansong.
