It means a sky view...
It means a sky view and plenty of interior light, even in the winter. But should the sun shine, the roof will disappear under the rear deck in only 22 seconds. The Karmann-designed C-VIEW system is standard on all models.
Peace of mind is invaluable...
Peace of mind is invaluable when you are buying any used car – but especially so when the model you’re considering has the kind of price tag which makes most showroom-fresh vehicles look cheap. That’s why Rolls-Royce has introduced its first-ever approved second-hand programme.
The move is indicative of how important used cars have become to manufacturers, because the prestigious British brand has managed to get by without such a scheme since its debut back in 1904.
Its new Provenance programme is designed to ensure only the best pre-owned models get the official Rolls seal of approval. Cars sold under the new banner are thoroughly examined by trained technicians and given a full road test to confirm they meet the company’s exacting standards.
Only vehicles that have been maintained specifically in accordance with Rolls-Royce’s servicing requirements are eligible for the scheme, and buyers benefit from a reassuring aftersales package as well. This includes 24-hour roadside assistance, along with an impressive servicing and warranty deal, which is valid until the car reaches its sixth birthday.
Second-hand versions of the manufacturer’s stunning 6.75-litre V12 Phantom limousine start from a whopping ?150,000, and the first examples of the car – which cost ?250,000 when new – arrived back in 2003.
A spokesman for Rolls told Auto Express: “Our customers expect the very best motor cars in the world, and this scheme enables us to offer the same support and peace of mind for approved pre-owned models that we already provide for new vehicles.”
