These are the first official pictures of the sporting newcomer, which makes its world debut in Switzerland alongside the acclaimed Kabura coupé concept. Following the recently launched 6MPS, with which it shares its 2.3-litre turbocharged engine, the front-wheel-drive 240bhp machine is expected to be the most powerful performance family car on the market when it goes on sale later this year. We spied the production ready No. 3 MPV÷ testing on mountain roads in Germany, and for the first time ever, we have bagged pictures of the new car"s interior too.
Aimed at the VW Golf Plus, and heavily inspired by the No 3 concept car first revealed at the Geneva Motor Show the car will cost from ÷£13,500.
Although this vehicle doesn"t get the show machine"s glass roof, it does get the same headlamps, as well as very similar proportions.
Inside, chrome rimmed instruments are clustered to directly face the driver, while the centre console brings major controls all together with two neat dials.
Rear seats look spacious, and in this model are fitted with two plastic, water filled dummies designed to simulate heavy passengers.
