Although he"s in the lead of this year"s British Touring Car series chase, Neal has never won a race at the fastest track on the schedule. He wants to put that right this year, and in the process move his bid for back-to-back championships up a gear.

Makers seem to cram more and more features into their sat-navs, and produce them in smaller packages. Thatò€™s certainly the case for Navigonò€™s new 1210 ò€“ itò€™s barely bigger than a cassette tape.

Devon could soon be a word more synonymous with tyre-smoke and torque rather than clotted cream and cows. The Devon GTX, Americaò€™s latest supercar, has been snapped in testing by our spies.

It"s all go for the 911! Not only has tuning firm RUF launched its latest high-performance version of the famous Porsche sports car, but weò€™ve also spied an electric hybrid model.

The RUF Rt 12 S gets an uprated version of the twin-turbo 3.6-litre flat-six that powers the 911 Turbo, this time producing 675bhp and 880Nm of torque ò€“ enough for a 224mph top speed. The car is marked out by a huge carbon fibre rear wing, low splitter and LED lights.

Other standard features include a rollcage and hydraulic suspension which can lower the Rt 12 S at the flick of a switch. Meanwhile, giving new meaning to the phrase ò€˜electrifying performanceò€™, we spied a 911 Cabriolet prototype with a strange bonnet bulge. When it sped away, there was virtually no engine noise, indicating that it is the first 911 hybrid. It features an electric motor driving the front wheels, and a traditional boxer engine at the rear.

This offers the option of a front-wheel-drive, all-electric mode or four-wheel-drive petrol- electric hybrid set-up. We will bring you more on the 911 hybrid in the coming months.
