The large people carrier...

The large people carrier is now available with the same 2.0-litre TDI oil-burner from the Toledo. With 138bhp on tap, it propels the MPV from 0-60mph in 12.2 seconds and on to 119mph. If you need more space...

If you need more space for your holiday luggage, but donò€™t have room to store a roof box when itò€™s not in use, the HandiHoldall is the answer. It works with the HandiRack system to provide masses of capacity, yet folds into a package thatò€™s small enough to be kept in the boot.

The product employs poles similar to those on a tent to create a rigid base, and weò€™d unrolled it ready for loading in seconds. Securely attaching the bag to the rack was not so simple; we had to follow the clear but complex instructions closely, although this wouldnò€™t be an issue once youò€™re familiar with the set-up. The 280-litre pack swallowed everything we wanted easily ò€“ we fitted two small cases and a medium soft bag. The HandiHoldall didnò€™t move on the road, even under heavy braking or cornering. Wind noise was minimal,

too. But while the holdall is great, the rackò€™s securing straps ò€“ which pass through the cabin from door to door ò€“ ate into interior space. A real drawback.
