Suzuki has announced prices for the all-new Grand Vitara. The stylish off-roader boasts permanent four-wheel drive and is available in three or five-door bodystyles. Entry-level 1.6-litre three-doors start at í‚á£12,699, while the 2.0-litre five-door manual is priced from í‚á£15,499. There"s also a four-speed auto available for the bigger engine - the model costs í‚á£16,449.

How much are you worth? Officially, it"s nearly ÷£1million. New Department for Transport (DfT) figures reveal motor÷ists and their passengers are valued at ÷£980,389 each - the highest amount ever.
The DfT uses the sums to see if improvements to road safety are good value. "We have to consider the benefits to society," said a spokesman.
Death is claimed to cost nearly ÷£100,000 in grief and suffering. The price the econ÷omy pays is said to be another ÷£490,000 in lost productivity, with road congestion and 999 services costs also dialled in.
