The AA Motoring Trust and RAC Foundation hit out after it was revealed the Department for Transport and its agencies spent a staggering ํแฃ5million hiring extra lawyers to deal with an increase in claims last year. "I"d like to have seen the money going on a new bypass instead of legal costs for public inquiries and land disputes," said Paul Watters of the AA Motoring Trust. And Edmund King from the RAC added: "If planning procedures were streamlined, we"d get a better transport network in place faster and for less expense."

Hex keys can easily be lost in a toolbox ๒ so Laser has come up with a novel way of keeping them together. The latest set not only folds down into a neat multi-tool-sized package, but it also includes a ratchet wrench.
The heavyweight metal tool has a quality feel, without sharp edges, and the rubber padding is well placed and supple, helping grip.
But we thought the unfolding action could have been more positive, plus there๒s no locking mechanism when open.
The smaller tools were a bit short, too, although the larger ones were fine, and the casing could be detached. This gave easy access to the smaller tools, and the ratchet ๒ which worked well ๒ could be swapped around for use with both sets.
Great for occasional jobs, but frequent users might prefer something a little more manageable.
