Here are the pictures that prove Mercedes is working overtime. Our spies have snapped the next-generation CLS and SLK!
Despite the heavy disguise, itò€™s clear to see the distinctive coupé-like profile of the four-door. Under the skin is the latest E-Class platform, while sleek styling is sure to help the CLS fend off competition from the upcoming Porsche Panamera and Audiò€™s A7. Sales start next year.
As for the SLK, this prototype shows a squarer shape than the current car. It will arrive in 2011, with the option of a folding glass roof and a flagship gullwing hybrid model.
