The Monterey is rated for children over 15kg ò€“ about four years old. It uses a clever arrangement for easy fitting, and while itò€™s quite large, itò€™s reasonably light. The seatò€™s integrated cup-holders seemed a good idea at first, but in practice we would have preferred a storage pouch. Still, once it has been taken out of the car, the chair can quickly be dismantled. The only trouble is, you will need somewhere clean and dry to store it ò€“ as the maker doesnò€™t provide a protective bag.
