Cigarettes can damage...

Cigarettes can damage your wealth, as well as your health. A lorry driver has been fined ÷£260 for lighting up in his truck cab.

Leonard King from Rhyl was having a puff in his cabin when a council dog warden spotted him. He is one of the first to be prosecuted under legislation introduced in July, which makes it illegal to smoke in public places, including company vehicles. Only cars used by a single person are exempt.

INDIAN car maker TATA is set to launch the world’s cheapest new vehicle. When it goes on sale early next year, the new supermini will be priced at only ÷£1,250.

The innovative five-door motor will feature a rear-mounted two-cylinder 800cc turbodiesel unit. A 600cc petrol version will also be available. Currently there are no plans to import the car to the UK.
