Vibrating car components...
Vibrating car components will soon become standard, predicts Japanese parts firm Denso. Shaking steering wheels, pedals, seats, headrests and seatbelts can alert drivers to potential dangers faster than dash lights or warning signs, cutting reaction times by up to a fifth of a second, according to scientists. Auto Express tested a car with a vibrating pedal in Issue 753.
But Fisker’s Tramonto...
But Fisker’s Tramonto isn’t rare enough for some buyers! That’s why the US coachbuilder revealed this incredible 700bhp version at the New York show – and it’s the firm’s fastest production car ever, with a 205mph top speed.
Based on Mercedes’ SL65 AMG, the Tramonto has a bespoke carbon fibre and aluminium body designed by ex-Aston Martin stylist Henrik Fisker. The standard model’s mighty 6.0-litre V12 is uprated from 604bhp to 700bhp, while peak torque is a massive 1,300Nm. Expect the 700bhp car to cost in excess of ?225,000.
