The Little Chef may have cooked his last omelette. Owners of the struggling restaurant chain are planning to sell off half of the network. The remaining caf탩s will be renamed. Competition from fast-food outlets and the trend towards healthier eating have seen the 47-year-old brand attract fewer diners.



As well as premiering...

As well as premiering the new face of the family favourite saloon, the crossover people carrier seen here will soon become a production reality. We published spy shots of a prototype on test last week (issue 846), and the finished version will appear in UK dealers next year. It"ll be the first model to be based on the next-generation Mondeo platform.

The American giant has...

The American giant has teamed up with legendary motorbike builder Harley Davidson to create this special-edition pick-up. Based on the multi-million selling F-150, it packs a potent 450bhp supercharged 5.4-litre V8 from the Saleen supercar. It also features 22-inch alloy wheels and several Harley badges.

Alcar-Wheelwright has...

Alcar-Wheelwright has added two new designs to its comprehensive range. First up is the Dotz Renegade. This tough-looking, 10-spoke rim comes in an Anthracite finish. It has a five-hole fitment, and is initially available only as an 18-inch wheel, with other sizes due later this year.

Also new to the line-up is the League Alchemist WFM. A limited-edition wheel, it’s finished in high-gloss white and has been inspired by the racing scene in the US and Japan. The split-spoke rim has a versatile multi-hole fitment, and comes in a variety of sizes, including 17 and 18 inches.
